Jean Kent is a master Houngan Asogwe from Haiti in the Leogane section. Of course his Haitian name is not ‘Jean Kent’ because when he first came to the US many years ago, people had difficult pronouncing his name so he chose one that would be simple and easy for folks to use. He lives in South Florida and I am proud to say I am a member of his Vodu House.
Jean’s first book, the Master Book of Prayer, was published back in 1980 through a vanity publisher under the name of “T. Ashcroft”. Initially he had 2,000 copies of his prayer book printed and sold some of them in a botanica he owned in Riviera Beach, FL back then. When he sold his botanica, he was left with quite a chunk of these books. That is until I came along.
After my initiation, I discovered Jean had this box of these prayer books and decided to help him sell them through my website and through my online occult discussion groups. This worked out well but we were only able to sell a few hundred before a tragic accident ruined the rest. Luckily though, Jean had the files saved on an old computer floppy disk and converted them to a Word file - he used to be a computer programmer back in the day. Then he updated the book to include yet more prayers and information plus a forward by yours truly along with more complete instructions and you get a revised edition now just called “The Book of Prayer” which is available through www.lulu.com a print-on-demand publisher.
The reports I have gotten back from folks who have bought and used his prayer book are amazing to say the least. Jean brought to the forefront a little known technique for personalizing any prayer as well as how to get the spirits to acknowledge the prayer. He also fully explains how to use the prayer book in the beginning of the book yet 80% of the people who buy the book fail to read that part and just dive into the prayers.

Jean’s second book, “The Master book of Psalms” is a powerful book that includes all 150 of the biblical Psalms but also the Hebrew passwords and pass phrases to get them to work properly. Further there are select names found within the passages as well that you can use to invoke more power into your working.
It bridges off his first book, “The Book of Prayer” and yet works quite nicely as a stand alone grimoire all of its own. You’ll discover also how to turn each psalm into a talisman and use it effectively with Jean’s own Kabala oil. If you don’t want to use Kabala oil, the psalms will still work, it is just that they are much more effective when used with this oil.
