Systems of Sorcery: The Path To Power
You wish to traverse your currect situation don’t you? You desire to transform not only yourself but also bend the material world around you to get you what it is you want out of it, right?
This is the path you wish to take. This is the no-nonsense, no bullshit, no silliness path to power you want.
Many of you who come by this website do so thru word-of-mouth, or reading my writings on other sites, my own MySpace page or even just bumping into me in chat rooms from time-to-time.
You come here why? Because you do NOT want the same old crap you’ve found in all of the “books” out there on the market? Or are you sick and tired of being spoon fed material by the “elders” of your lodge, coven, ile or societe? Regardless, you’re here for a reason!
There are many paths to power and this is something you’re probably all too familiar with. In fact, most likely you’re confused as to which path is the strongest, the most powerful, the most valid, least time to learn, etc. You want “McMagic” but you know that’s not real for if it were, then there’d be a Hogwarts where such Magic would be taught and learned. Sorry but Hollywood Magic does NOT exist. But as I said previously, you (SHOULD) already know that.
Defining Your Destination
Once upon a time, I too was wobbling back and forth in the McWiccan(1) sentiments that everything in Magic was arbitrary and malleable. That the only fundamental truth (sic) was the Law of Karma(2). Amazing how McWiccans don’t feel the need to abide traditional approaches to practicing Magic but they sure as all hell will stick with a limiting belief called “karma”. Sorcery is malleable but it is not arbitrary. There are fundamental truths that exist and many useful beliefs from which the practitioner may operate.
Fortunately, I had a long talk with a very rational Spirit from a grimoire. The Non-Physical Entity's name is not important but suffice it to say that the rationale was quite compelling and helped me to form a firm foundation upon me in which to operate. Later I found that other similar entities also share the same sentiments and they really tend to chuckle at the McWiccan approach to Magic penned by authors from sheeple publishing companies.
To alleviate the confusion that obviously obfuscates your judgment, it is best to close out all distractions and settle yourself down to business. Realize that there is a tendency to want to buy every freakin’ book that remotely touches upon Occult subjects. Why? Oh my gods, what if I don’t learn it all? Well you are never going to learn it all - at least in this lifetime! Think about the wild variety of choices of a brand new, five star restaurant. They have over 50 different menu items to choose from. Which to choose? Obviously you cannot eat them all at one setting so you must make a valid choice and stick with it.
Next, it’s a wise to know where you’re coming from and where you’re going. A dear friend likes to tell me that the Craft has many wounded children. That’s true it does but so does all religions and Spiritual practices. Even though Sorcery is not a Spiritual practice, it still seems to attract many who wish to become “McMagicians” or join the Harry Potter school of wizardry. *sigh* Well thankfully the real Occult is far more reaching and more powerful than in the Hollywood personas.
BUT... how can you know where you’re going if you don’t know WHO you are or where you came from? The old questions of ‘Where did you come from?’ ‘Where are you now?’ And ‘Where do you want to be?’ should be the very first questions you answer. But of course YOU WILL NOT! And that is because you think you know all about yourself. Wrong. You don’t know even the first 1/10000th about yourself! Your mind is capable of many great things all of which you could make come true but before you begin the journey you must know the destination. The path may be changeable by connecting to other routes and finding the shortcuts as they come up but the destination is always the same.
Imagine WHO you want to be. Sit and think about that. If you find it difficult to guess where you’d like to be, then ask yourself to tell you who it is you truly admire THEN imagine yourself as that person. Try to touch into their mindset, their feelings, their hopes and dreams, their aspirations, their morals and values. Dig into this. Define who you want to be. Now... write this down. Why? Because by writing down your dreams and aspirations, you’re giving concrete fulfillment to something intangible. Goals are intangible. Dreams are intangible. Before you go off running to chase a dream, you first must make it tangible.
March of the Wooden Soldiers
Once you have a goal, now it’s time to decide HOW you’re going to get there. This is where all of the various books & websites with all the fantastic claims come out shouting and begging for your hard earned money. It’s all a bunch of variant “systems” which may or may not work. The rub is that there are many variations on a theme and many of those have so many subtle changes which really make the difference.
Thus like a wooden soldier, you’ll walk down the aisle and grab this book and that book all because of what? Pretty covers? A half-assed bibliography (if one is even present) or the laudings of other “notable” (sic) authors who praise each other’s work? Please. Why should you care that Mr. X who wrote “The Magus Guide to Harry Potter” feels that Ms. Z’s book on “Herbal Potions You Can Use”? Perhaps Ms. Z is a flake to begin with (most likely) and Mr. X is just another hack.
These “big names” impress you. Why? Well obviously they must know what they’re talking about. Ms. Z has a website with tons of free information and it’s all historically accurate - so it’s claimed. But there’s no “system” present. There’s no PROCESS!
Why not take on a complete SYSTEM?
The System Is in the Process!
I’m going to offer you an opportunity to learn. This is unlike anything you’ll ever be able to match elsewhere! Bar none! Oh there are “mailorder” systems from your run-of-the-mill Hogwarts out there. Some have been publishing their garbage for decades. These people invent new terms in order to sound important. The use of “technical jargon” is a confusion technique. And their courses are “stapled” together so you get 8 to 10 pages all poorly typewritten and stapled up at the corner. Nice eh? For how much? $10 a lesson? Or is it more now? Pathetic!
Remember you can go to Ms. Z’s homebrew school of Hogwarts Magic and get her information at a ridiculously cheap price. Well it SHOULD be that cheap because it’s nonsense. You see, she may point to archived sources because she’s scholarly but not a real practitioner. Hey ain’t that terrific? Here’s an attorney teaching you how to practice law who has never practiced law. That makes a lot of sense... NOT!
A course is by far the BEST way to go to learn Occultism. Why? Number one you digest the lessons easier. The idea is you get more bang for your buck and the information is put together in a particular way so you can steadily progress.
What good does it do for you to buy a course in evocation of Spirits when you don’t know the bare bones basics of Sorcer? That’s pretty dumb to think you can jump into high gear when you put your fifth gear from a stop isn’t it? You can’t do that! You MUST start the car in first gear and let it build up speed slowly. Then shift up from first to second then second to third and etcetera until you reach fifth gear! To try otherwise you’ll just ruin your car’s gears and you won’t go far, fast.
Time to put it all in FIRST gear. The FIRST thing you need to learn are “The Basics of Metaphysical Empowerment” but I can hear the cries, “But I already know all that!” and I’m saying, “Bullshit! You THINK you konw it but you don’t!”
Draja Mickaharic in his book The Practice of Magic explains how when he first started out, his teacher taught him a method to use to fully relax his body. He was instructed to go and master this exercise. Guess what? He did this without fail for about six months and when he went back to his teacher to say he mastered the technique, he discovered he was nowhere near the level he needed to be at! Thus he was told to go and fully MASTER it before coming back. Then after a full year of practice, he had it truly mastered.
People come to me asking me to teach them the advanced Occult Arts and hell they don’t know anything about the bare bones basics! Yet they claim ‘I know this!’ Right. You THINK you do but in reality you do not. Too bad. You’re never going to make any real progress unless you take the time to DO THE WORK! Believe me, it took me a while to figure this out but when it did sink in thru my thick skull, I understood the necessity to master the basics and why doing so was so all important.
The Basics of Metaphysical Empowerment booklet is mini-course designed to get you up and running if you stick with it for about 3 to 6 months. If you took & practiced nothing but it alone for a full year, you’d be far more advanced than other so-called Magickians in this work! It’s like musicians. I’ve met plenty of guitar players who never never studied the basics & all they know is a few things and those that they know they may be able to do well but it’s hard for them to really call themselves a musician. They play guitar but they’re not musicians. They can’t really create anything other than within the scope of what little they’ve learned. Thus their growth is stymied. Too bad.
Do you wanna be like the “guitar player” or would you rather be more like the “musician?” You must decide that.
Forget what you ‘know’ about visualization & other basics esoteric arts regardless of where it came from! This mini-course is like nothing else. You will learn how to really get your mind in tune and focus your attention like a Zen Master does. Take this mini-course FIRST and push yourself. Consider this course your “military boot camp” where you will learn the basics and push yourself more and more.
The Yellow Brick Road
The next step is to study my Sorcery Primer entitled UpStart: A Beginner's Manual In Sorcery as that will give you a fundamental foundation for the Basic MolochSorcery course (forthcoming). This will get your mind to thinking correctly about how the Moloch system of Sorcery operates.
Then next you will want to acquaint yourself with the booklet Moloch's Guide To Using Sorcery Formulas which doesn't give you the recipes for the oils but rather how to use them. No I do not give out my proprietary recipes (Nor should you when you develop yours!) however this booklet will give you an understanding of how to use my potions and formulas for your own metaphysical purposes!
NOW you will step out onto the next step in your development: Basic Sorcery. The (forthcoming) Basic Moloch Sorcery course is the next step on the path. Well I can hear you say, “Why?” There are some positive reasons for this as your next step.
First off most people who get into the Occult want to not only better themselves they also want to better the world around themselves. Sorcery is the way to do this. Let’s face it, out of all the Magical Religions such as Wicca, Thelema, Santeria, Vodou, etc., they all come with one fundamental flaw: dogma!
By dogma I mean you’re indoctrinated (re: brainwashed) with ‘ethics’, ‘karma’ and other guilt patterns installed into your psyche. This dogma is not as important as they’d have you believe. Sorcery has NO DOGMA! What Sorcery offers you is an opportunity to not only change your life but the world around you WIHOUT guilt!
The Basic MolochSorcery course will teach you the bare bones basics about herbs, roots, oils, powders, candle magic techniques, Spirit dolls, etc. This course will show you how to Uncross yourself when it seems life has taken a dump on you. It will show you how to attract a mate, how to better your financial position, how to remove those who impede your progress, etc. The rituals are the fundamental to learning.
If you just buy this course and do nothing with it other than read it, then you are a FOOL. You will never amount to anything more than what you currently are. If your life is perfect - and I highly doubt it is - then of course you could skip this course all together but I’d ask you, ‘What do you hope to accomplish with the Occult?’ and you certainly had better know.
The Basic MolochSorcery course is NOT Wicca! Regardless of how it’s written or how much of it is parallelled in “wiccan books” it’s NOT the same. The Basic MolochSorcery course is far more involved and there is NO DOGMA!
Learn these steps first!
Up Shifting Into Magical Overdrive: The Folk Magic Paradigm
Okay now you’ve learned how to properly use creative visualization and how to attract the life you want using Sorcery, it’s time to decide where you want to go next.
Many people who get into folk magical practices tend to want to stay there. Thus the next progression in the series would be to the Voodoo Magic course. This is important. By delving into this course, you are learning how to work with the Spirit World. You will learn a method of RootWork-Conjure Sorcery that is designed to work in conjunction with the Basic MolochSorcery course.
In this course, you’ll learn more uses of potions and roots as well as calling upon higher powers to bring you better luck, more money, better healing abilities, more Spirituality, etc. RootWork-Conjure magic is powerful and very workable and you do not have to be an African American to use it. The LWA are open minded enough to allow any race to utilize it. This course will have you running rings around Wiccans and Thelemites - even the so-called Kaos Magickians - because you’re learning a system that has elements going back to the early 1800s in the Southern United States.
After this you’ll want to pick up a copy of either Brujo Negro’s Voodoo Sorcery Grimoire or my own Pragmatic Magics: Grimoire of Modern Sorcery because what you’ll have learned thus far in those courses will allow you to take what’s offered to you from Brujo’s grimoire or My grimoire and effectively make use of it. Both of our grimoires are “Intermediate Level” manuals. They are not intended for first timers at all even though SOME of the basics are covered in them. Both of those grimoires are designed to get you up and running and doing intermediate level work AFTER you’ve had time to study and learn the bare bones basics.
Arcane Sorceries!
Afterwards if you desire to delve further into High Sorcery, then get my grimoire Pragmatic Magics: A Grimoire Of Modern Sorcery and use it afterwards or in conjunction with this. My grimoire does touch upon many aspects of Occultism in a Sorcerous manner.
Pragmatic Magics is a grimoire par excellence in that it is a cookbook without the needless chatter that most books on Magic offer. It conveys a sense of 'do this and expect that to happen' and is patterned after the grimoires of the Medieval period minus the Judaic & Paulianity theological mindset.
You will find everything you need in this grimoire to make your Sorceries far more potent than what you currently gain from what you're now using. Learn about tools, potions, recipes, stones, crystals and other assorted information!
Racing For The Finish Line
What else is there? *GRIN* The practice of summoning Spirits from a Ritual Magic paradigm!
The Magus Ritual Magic course is definitely something you want to get into AFTER you’ve studied the bare bones basics. This is not a system that you’re going to be up and running with immediately unlike the Basic Sorcery course. It will take you several months (maybe even years) of study and practice to get you proficient with this system.
Far too many people want to evoke a Spirit because they think it’s cool. They want to ‘see’ the Spirit or Entity for themselves. Why? They think this will justify their belief in the Occult. And they reason if they can get a physical manifestation that they themselves can see with their eyes, then by the gods they can prove to others that the world of the Occult is real! It is possible! Unfortunately, while it is real, the results are subjective to your own senses. This means the Entities most likely will not be seen or perceived by others merely for their amusement.
While there is much to learn from an Evocation perspective from this course, there is also much other Qabalistic material within it as well. You can learn to make and use talismans, perform rites of balance within yourself and create harmony in your life. However ritual magic in and of itself is very difficult to get material results for in the manner that say Basic MolochSorcery can get you. Qabala and ritual magic will help you develop yourself spiritually and help you attain the balance you seek within and without. It is not geared to getting you love, sex, wealth, revenge, etc.
This is all true ESPECIALLY when you don’t know jack shit about about Basic MolochSorcery let alone Baiscso of Metaphysial Empowerment. Without the understanding of both of those, taking the Magus Ritual Magic course and trying to soar will not get you as far as you really want. BUT... if you take the time to work your way thru the two pre-requisites, you WILL gain a tremendous amount from this course!
Foundations
Without the proper foundation, no building can stand for long. If a proper foundation is laid and set, then the structure built upon it will have the most important thing done. If you go to buy a house, the smartes thing you can do is walk down into the basement or shimmy yourself in the crawlspace and carefully examine the foundation of the house. If the foundation is weak, realize you are going to have to pay BIG MONEY to have it repaired later. Whereas if you buy a house that has a firm foundation, it will be worth far more than if the foundation looks like it may have a lot of cracks in it.
Build your foundation. Now. Don’t waste time trying to evoke Spirits or mentally jump thru hoops or make talismans when you don’t even know nor understand the bare bones basics of practicing the Occult. Save your money.
BUT... if you want to achieve your dreams; if you want to be able to be a force to be reckoned with out there, then this course of study is for you. Follow it. Use it. Practice, practice, practice and practice some more. Then move on to the next step!
Wishing and reading tons of books and websites just ain’t gonna cut it. You’re wasting your time when you could be racing to that finish line ahead of the pack!

[1] Understand that the term "McWiccan" is not a slam against ALL Wiccans. This is against the wannabes who are lazy & lacksadaisical about their belief in Wicca. There are many able bodied Wiccans out there who are neither glib nor flippant about the Gods, Spirits and beliefs.
[2] Karma is first and foremost a "belief" NOT any sort of law like Thermodynamics is. Sadly, too many ascribe the further belief that Karma happens whether you want it to or not.
