Exorcism: Overcome Black Magic With White Magic
(Parker Publishing; 1974)
First off let me start by saying I really, REALLY like this book and do my best to use it as often as I can. Why? Well it has great utility in occult practice. The workings are simple, straightforward and above all, they actually work. It is a very difficult book to find and when you do, every used bookseller wants to rape you for a copy. The least expensive I have seen it go for today is just over $26 on eBay in paperback and the most is $250 for a new copy in hardbound on Amazon. Thus depending on the size of your wallet and how much you really want a copy will determine how much $$$ you wish to shell out for it.
For a budding a sorcery practitioner I cannot think of many books that will help you orient your compass towards being a more positive person than this manual will. Even if you are a long time practitioner like myself it is a great manual to re-orient yourself with. I have recently began to work with this manual once again and am beginning to feel much better about life, people and the world in general. Yeah, it’s that good. :)
Realize that this manual is very Christian oriented as it uses “God” and “God the Father” in a number of the invocations that you are to use. While this isn’t a bad thing in itself per se, it may mess with some folk’s head who happen to be more Pagan or occult oriented. Thus what I’ve done myself is where it states “God” I simply write it out as “The Gods” which fits into my Pagan or occult paradigm. ;) God the Father isn’t so bad since just about every Pagan paradigm has a divine masculine and feminine leader such as Frey and Freyja, Odin and Frigga, Zeus and Hera, Baron Samedi and Grand Erzulie, and so on.
P. 24 Exorcism to Overcome Evil With Good
“I now approach the mystic shrine of God’s omniscient power, and exorcize the negative obsession of evil that has control of men’s minds today. I invoke the power of Good to banish all evil from my life forever. I enthrone the quality of Good in my mind, my words and my deeds. God is good and my life reflects the divine qualities of mercy, compassion, and Good in my relationship with others. I break the evil spell of mesmerism that threatens my life with fear, failure and defeat. I surround myself with the white light of God’s divine presence and it protects me from all forces of black magic, evil thought forms, and other obsessing entities that threaten me.”
That is the basic invocation to banish evil, darkness and gloom from one’s mind, consciousness and life. I’ve found it helpful to write this down on a 3 X 5 note card and recite it three times a day - right after arising from sleep, then mid-day, and then before retiring for the night, or however your schedule permits.
Now here is how I write the above invocation out but instead using it more with a Pagan friendly feel...
“I now approach the mystic shrine of The God’s omniscient power, and exorcize the negative obsession of evil that has control of men’s minds today. I invoke the power of Good to banish all evil from my life forever. I enthrone the quality of Good in my mind, my words and my deeds. The Gods are good and my life reflects the divine qualities of mercy, compassion and Good in my relationship with others. I break the evil spell of mesmerism that threatens my life with fear, failure and defeat. I surround myself with the white light of The God’s divine presence and it protects me from all forces of black magic, evil thought forms, and other obsessing entities that threaten me.”
Simple. Elegant. Effective. This is how you can make use of this manual for your own work. Here are some other useful passages from this kickass tome that I highly recommend. Note that I will just relate them as they are in the book itself instead of showing the Pagan friendly version since I showed you how that works and thus you should be able to work those minor word changes out for yourself. :)
P. 25 Exorcism to Establish Health and Overcome the Evil of Sickness, Accident and Death
“I now approach the throne of illimitable power and establish my cosmic connection with the force of God and Good. I break the black magic spell of sickness that has threatened me with disability, infection and incapacity. I overcome the spiritual virus of obsessing thought entities that makes me sick. I invoke the power of exorcism here and now to remove from my mind and body cells all infections all viruses and all forms of illness, and to establish forever in my body the image of perfect health and life. I exorcize sickness, accident, and premature death and invoke the power of life, protection and immunity. I am healed by the miracle power of God and the satanic force of sickness and evil is forever banished to the realm of oblivion.”
P. 28 Exorcism to Use for Banishing the Demons of Misery and Discontent and Achieving Radiant Happiness
“I refuse to yield to the evil forces of negativity, moodiness, depression and morbidity that are all around me. I fortify myself by the God-mind which can overthrow these demons of fear, hate, selfishness, greed and jealousy that are rampant in the world. I am in the protective custody of God and His positive forces of radiant joy, love, peace and beauty. My mind is now inhabited by thought forces of Good,, of radiant joy, and I am uplifted in mind and spirit and remain aloof from the current trend to moodiness and depression.”
[Note: The line above where it states “...God and His positive forces...” I have changed for my own Pagan use as “...The Gods and their positive forces...”]
P. 33 Exorcism to Overcome Moodiness, Depression and Gloom
“I now banish the dark shadows of moodiness, pessimism, and gloom that inhabit my conscious and subconscious minds. I now replace these negative forces with positive forces of joy, enthusiasm, hope and optimism. I now chase the clouds of gloom from my mind and I am once again happy and radiantly alive. I thrive on memories of past happy experiences and I build my subconscious mind power on the positive forces of optimism and faith that will shape my future destiny perfectly.”
P. 40 The Maharajah’s Zmystic Money Ritual
“I am the custodian of all God’s treasures in His universe. I now make a sacred covenant with Him. I shall administer and dispense these treasures with honor and justice. I shall conserve and protect His nature resources. I shall respect His universal laws, and grant to Him the power to dispose of my earthly treasures in any way He chooses. I shall share my good with my people. I shall grant His wishes and help uplift the poor, elevate the ignorant, inspire the love to high ideals, and daily pray for the wisdom to serve God and Humanity.”
