The Familiar Spirit is a sentient Non-Physical Entity who will be linked to a small statue (statues will vary depending on what I have on hand or can acquire) which you will place in your home or business. This is a far morepotent Spirit than a mere Thrall is because it is a subordinate Spirit to a major Spiritual Power.
The Familiar Spirit will require regular feedings (usually once per week) and you will be able to summon the Spirit and have it work for you. It will only be able to work on ONE project at a time. Should you need something more substantial than that, then I suggest my Spirit Ring (see Unique Stuff) or you can have a whole host of these Familiar Spirits at your beck and call.
The advantage over a Thrall or nay Servitor Spirit is that a Familiar is sentient and can think independently for Itself. Thus if you have it watching your home while you are away on vacation, you can say, "Allow only the person I asked to come over to feed the pets while I'm gone in my home while I'm away" whereas with a Thrall you'd have to be far more specific so that the Thrall would not get nasty on someone who is innocent.
There are so many more things a good Familiar Spirit can do for you and all you have to do is ask the Familiar to do it. Just remember you can ONLY give it ONE task at a time. If multiple tasks are required, then either buy more Familiars OR buy a Spirit Ring of Power.
